The Benchmade AFO model was the first push button platform ever by Benchmade and while it has experienced some upgrades through the years, the design and specifications remained almost unchanged. The AFO II side open knife is a second generation model that is even tougher than the original--boasting an over-sized push button lock that is 30% stronger and a large 3.56" blade comprised of American-made 154CM stainless steel. This elite knife has an integrated spine safety, black anodized aluminum handles and a back spacer that protrudes to form a pointed pommel that can function as a glass breaker. This mode, the 9051SBK, features a drop point blade, that is partly serrated, in a black finish and a 4-way positional pocket clip allowing for tip up or tip down carry on either side. Finally, because of the size, this knife comes with a MOLLE compatible nylon sheath and malice clip for multiple carry options. Made in the USA.
