Nice locking mechanism. Knife showed up a day earlier than expected.

So happy to get this knife!

Posted by Ken Faulkner on 27th Aug 2021

So many people have been talking about this knife. I have been excited to have the opertunity to get one myself since they first came out (and sold out) at Bladeshow. Finally the day came and I spent all morning trying to buy one but they were vanishing so quickly. I am so grateful for the notification I received from REC that this knife I have been dying to get my hands on. And I am not disappointed, the Shark Lock is so fun to fidget with!

    Meets all expectations

I’ve been looking for one for a while now and it doesn’t disappoint. Action, lockup, centering, all great. Multiple ways to deploy. Comes with an extra clip for LH carry. Packaged in a nice pouch. It’s also very fidgety!

    Awesome knife

Posted by Rob on 27th Aug 2021

I wanted this knife from the first second I saw it. I couldn’t get my hands on one for some time though, until I saw REC’s Instagram post stating they had some. I was lucky enough to get the one I wanted (the clip point.) I absolutely love this knife. It’s got a cool new locking mechanism. I love the gray handles. And this thing is so buttery smooth, I’ve never felt anything like it. It’s my new favorite knife. No joke. I want to buy another cause I like it so much, I don’t want to damage it lol. I gave it four out of 5 stars for 2 small reasons. One, I truly wish it was just slightly larger. A quarter of an inch even. I don’t have enormous hands, but being over 6 feet tall, they aren’t small. The second is, the steel. I understand to keep it at this amazing price point you needed to use a more budget friendly steel, but I still I wish it was s30v or something. The bugout has it and it’s an even cheaper knife. But I’d give this thing 4 and a half stars, if I could. It’s absolutely awesome.

    Beautiful

Posted by Rob on 21st Aug 2021

I was trying to get one of these for a while. I am not disappointed. The gray is absolutely beautiful. It’s a $150 dollar knife, yet it’s smoother than every other knife I have. It’s so buttery smooth to open and close. If you forced me to say one bad thing; it’s I wish it was a little larger, and of course (I always say this), I wish it had a flipper tab [also] to protect your fingers if it closes on them (just in case, kinda thing). Otherwise, it jumped to my new favorite knife. Wish I had two so I could keep one clean. Of course I wish the steel was a little better also, but I haven’t really tested it.

    Excellent knife

Demko hit a home run with these. One of the smoothest knives I own, so easy to open and close and so far the Aus-10A is performing like a champ.

Just wanted to test it, turns out I love it!

Posted by Dillon B on 23rd Jun 2021

I was so curious about the shark lock, so when these popped up I just had to give it a shot. Not only does it fidget like a champ, this thing just keeps finding it's way into my pocket because it can handle everything and carries fairly light. I'll be on the look out for a full size now. REC was excellent with a quick turnaround and I'm loving the patch and sticker.

    Demko AD20.5

Posted by Unknown on 21st Jun 2021

Much smaller then I thought it would be. Clip point is very nice, the scale is mediocre. Price reflects where it’s made (Taiwan), however it should of been cheaper. I would of paid double if it was made in the USA. It’s a solid blade and I have nothing bad to say about it, I just expected more. I will try and get a Demko AD20.
