This is my new favorite knife coating! I hope REC keeps selling it forever. It dries extremely slick and I can feel my knives slicing cardboard even easier than before. Definitely my go to blade protection.
The best product for knife care on the planet! I've used many products over the years which have failed, especially when it comes to corrosion protection. NOT THIS PRODUCT! It works time and again. Plus the application couldn't be simpler! Spray, distribute, and wipe! That's it! Superb, outstanding item. If you want to protect your blades, you must have this in your kit.
Put it on M4 steel two weeks ago and rust spots so far! I live in a rain forest in Hawaii, it is pretty humid and surrounded by the ocean! I like it!
At any point in time, I keep a big bottle and 2 small go bottles. This stuff is fantastic if you carry knives with steel like m4 and the like, or if you have titanium handles that you just want to keep nice. A+ service from REC as always getting it to me!
This stuff is seriously the best. If you have any non-stainless steel blades, this spray absolutely protects them from rusting. And I can't place it, but it has a smell that reminds me of being a kid and working in the garage with my dad. So I put it on every knife, just because.
I live on the Gulf Of Mexico, all I can say is this product works. After discovering EDCI I will not be without it again.
Buy it, its does exactly what it says. I bought it for my m4 steel but ended up using it on all my knives.
I use this for all my blades. Tool steels or stainless. Its not messy and is pleasant smelling. REC is the only retailer that i know of that sells it and they get it shipped FAST. The only thing i wish is that they sold them in larger bottle sizes. So if you have a collection like mine with around 20 plus folders and fixed blades, get 2 or more of these.
This stuff makes cleaning and protecting your more rust prone blades very easy. Having a protective layer on my REX 45 PM2 makes me more likely to carry it.
