Pros: excellent design, wonderful build quality. The precision of today's production knives is a wonderful thing for us consumers. Fit and finish is spot on, no hot spots in handling, great feel. Overall excellent ergos. Cons: It is a bit heavy, would like to see a lighter version (Titanium?). There are better steels out there but CM154 is certainly OK. Value, well this is tricky because there are a lot of knives out there that offer lighter knives with better steels at lower price points. However that being said this is still one heck of a knife and if I lost it I'd buy another.

I've always been in search of "the perfect knife," and that's always been modern and premium materials made in a traditional style while retaining the benefits of modern knives. And honestly... This is it! It came out the box screaming sharp, the grind is very even, the blade is centered, and it has a bear drop shut action out the box! The knife is a little dense (heavy) and the denim micarta is much smoother than I expected, but it's 100% fine by me and doesn't bother me in the slightest! Finch has knocked this out the park!!
