    Hogue Deka

This is a really awesome edc. Super light and disappears in your pocket. It feels nicer than a bugout. The scales can be upgraded but I don’t mind the stock ones. They don’t get hung up, even in gym shorts.

Nearly Perfect knife with a fixable flaw (if it can be found)

Everything someone would want from an edc knife, this Deka has. It’s a great knife. The MagnaCut steel is nice and thin, making this thing a slicey beast! The same thing that everyone else complains about is what my problem is. The knife is made as a lightweight, with skeletonized polymer scales. They went too far, and it feels really cheap. It’s probably strong enough, but if this had full steel liners, it would be the perfect weight. Aftermarket scales exist, if you can find them in stock. From reviews, swapping the scales makes this a perfect knife. Overall I still carry and use this knife. I love it, but man I wish I could get some solid scales for it.
