Finding the perfect balance between big and small, the 0707 offers something for everyone with its premium looks and cutting performance. Its sleek profile is comfortable in the hand, while also keeping a low profile in the pocket. Yet its 3.5-inch blade offers a substantial edge for most cutting tasks. Plus, for a first in the Zero Tolerance lineup, users can access the blade with ZT's Tuned Detent System (TDS™), which allows the knife to be opened even with pressure on the lockbar. A reversible extra-deep-carry pocket clip, carbon fiber handle scales, and CPM 20CV blade steel round out this feature-packed ZT innovation.

    Great gents blade

I wasn't sure if the Tuned Detent System was a gimmick but I've got to say that it it really works to keep my short stubby fingers from jamming the frame lock shut on the deploy. The fit and finish is extremely nice and the machining was top notch, especially the pivot collar. Deep carry pocket clip and overall slimness and weight of this knife made it a joy to carry in everything from gym shorts to jeans. On the other hand I noted that my knife had both minor lock stick and rock, however I loosened and retightened the lock insert and that fixed the problem. I also noticed that the factory edge was not nearly as well done as the rest of the knife and I had to sharpen it to clean up a uneven and rough grind. I really put this knife to work on everything from breaking down cardboard to whittling sticks and while I did notice a minor hot spot from the clip that was only when really bearing down on the knife. All in all ZT did a fine job in nearly every aspect of this knife I'd give it a 8/10 which could have been a 9/10 if not for the issues I noted.

Used the 0707 for a week straight and really enjoyed how smooth and sharp it is, very light folder that handled EDC without any issues. Cut down boxes, opened packages, sliced fruit it did it all while being very light. Loved the shape and how well it worked as a fidget tool.

    Quality

This zt offers great materials in a lightweight package. I'm use to carrying some of their bigger knives such as the 0920, 0801, and 0592. So it was a new experience to have a knife disappeare in my pocket. Not only is it lightweight but the ergonomics work well in the hands, I have large hands and could comfortably get full purchase of the handle. I used this knife in the garden and other tasks around the place. I can confidently say that it will hold up to it's bigger brothers like the 0801. Thank you REC for the opportunity to check this knife out.

    ZT0707

I had the privilege to handle this knife for awhile as part of a pass around and will say I was surprised. I was blown away by how lightweight the knife is. It is very thin and very short height wise to make a super lightweight slicey blade. It disappears in the pocket and the flipper tab is not an issue there. The pocket clip is deep carry and small compared to some clips but has good retention and makes the knife inconspicuous in the pocket. The opening action is fantastic. It feels good in the hand with no hotspots and jimping done to be useful without being to aggressive. The carbon fiber and lock side look very good to me and overall makes a good looking knife. For someone looking for an extremely lightweight slicer, this would be a very good choice.

    Great knife

I was one of the few to be chosen for the pass around of one of these knives. It was awesome! The 20CV steel was awesome; I used it to cut up a bunch of stuff. Cut up a lot of boxes, a lot of zipties, and those plastic packages; it was until I put it through 4 bags of mortar til it was becoming somewhat dull, and broke the tip, but even then it was still going through like a champ! This is an amazing edc or gentlemans carry and would definitely recommend this to someone if they had the money, or any other Zero Tolerance, or any knife with 20CV. I personally have a Spyderco Manix 2 20CV, and they both have made me love the steel. I'm sure whoever either purchases one or is gifted one of these 0707's; will be a very happy person.
