    Cerakote, a ceramic-based finish, is versatile and can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers, and wood. Its unique formulation enhances key performance qualities such as abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness. These properties undergo rigorous testing to ensure Cerakote products lead the ceramic coatings market. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, Cerakote consistently outperforms other applications in both lab tests and real-world applications.

The pricing for custom work varies depending on the specific details of each project. To receive a personalized quote, please send an email to Customshop@riversedgecutlery.com, and we will respond with your quote within 24 hours. REC Custom Shop offers a wide range of custom services from brass and copper aging and patina work, laser engraving, acid-etching, stone washing, vapor honing, glass blasting, and carbide blasting. We are always improving our services, if you have a question about our customization services, please email us!

Won't This VOID My Warranty? 

In the majority of cases, yes it will. To be sure, you can always verify with the manufacturer. This is generally categorized as a "modification" by most manufacturers.

YES! We are very confident in our ability and work.

Free from peeling, chipping, cracking, or flaking outside of normal use.

Can I Get the Spyderco "REC" Colorway? 
Nope, but we will OD/FDE combo on anything but a Spyderco

Are There Projects REC Will Not Do? 
Yes, Chris Reeve Knives, Hinderer, any copy righted materials, Spyderco knives in the REC exclusive colorway
