At REC, We have know Andrew Bawidamann for about 20 years since we opened shop in 2003. He has always been one of our avid customers that loves knives, EDC and the community as long as I have know him. We have watched him take his passion to the next level every time has brings his latest creation into the shop. This DB-2 was just too cool to pass up the opportunity to have them in store. These are not only made in the USA, they are made right here locally in OHIO!
This is Bawidamann's vision of something that probably did not exist but should have. He Loves the look of the old canvas Cartridge Belts/Web Gear and the leather 1911 Holsters that served us from WW1, WW2, and Korea. Beautifully sewn By Chattanooga Leatherworks. Half leather, Half Canvas, with a lead insert. This is a Companion Design to the Doughboy and the Tommy.
Made from Hermann Oak Vegetable tanned leather. Hand stitched with a traditional saddle Stitch @ Chattanooga Leatherworks in TN.
