Green Stonewashed Titanium Handle, Stonewash Blade, 20CV

Iron Mutt - The best of both Iron Pups! I took the flipper fuller blade and put it with the contoured handle, added weight reduction on inside of handles, lowered the pocket clip for deeper carry and raised the fuller so it can be used to open blade/knife.

Small Limited/ Numbered Run. Only 60 in total of this variation!

Great little knife with major improvements over the Pup

Posted by Patrick Thornton on 6th Sep 2023

Pros: Flipper and fuller are better opening options than the thumb stud on such small knife (like the Pup). Fit and finish is very nice. Contouring of the handles. Materials. Weight reduction from the previous Pup. Deeper carry pocket clip. Cons: Action is good, but the finish on the blade causes some friction when closing (this is starting to break in). Slight hot spot at the point of the pocket clip. Wouldn't mind if it was a slightly even deeper carry. Overall this is a good improvement over the BB Iron Pup which is roughly the same size, but is heavier and requires some specific positioning when opening with the thumb stud to not hit the lock bar. The action seems to be breaking in, and the weight reduction is respectable for its size. (the Pup, though small, was a mini tank). My only complaints are mainly with the pocket clip. There is a bit of a sharp point on one corner that creates a slight hot spot, but nothing that would bother me unless I were to use it for long periods of time. Also, it is a deeper carry than the Pup, but could even be slightly deeper if the chamfer on the pocket clip was reduced to move the screws farther back. Overall, great little knife that will get a lot of use!
