The Inkosi, CRK's most technologically advanced model, pushes the characteristics of the Integral Lock®, blade strength, pivot and lock tolerances as well as overall ergonomics. A  97 RC ceramic ball and runs interface between the Integral Lock® bar end and tang of the blade, preventing wear and ensuring accurate lock up for the lifetime of the knife. Blending the benefits of a flat grind and hollow grind, the blade’s 20” hollow grind provides a thicker stock and more overall strength.  The CPM MagnaCut blade is heat treated to 63-64 RC.

Canvas micarta is an extremely durable fibrous material designed to bloom when in contact with moisture, making the Inkosi with micarta an exceptional choice for an every day carry.

Insingo, meaning “razor” in Zulu, is a Chris Reeve adaptation of the traditional Wharncliffe blade, a utility blade with excellent slicing capabilities.

If you are considering your 1st CRK like I was after building a modest folding knife collection (40 pieces) worth around between 5-6K and your not sure about pulling the trigger there are a few things to know. 1. These are not free dropping fidget knives. 2. Once you get used to the way they operate and feel the unbelievable quality and tolerances they are so painstakingly built with you won't give a crap about #1. There's no need to tell you how freaking awesome these knives are because....well...DUH! I see a lot of people on youtube that for some reason just don't get it but then again who cares. If you haven't experienced one just pull the trigger. If you don't like it REC has your back. Remember these are knives that can be passed down for generations. They do require breaking in and after that a good disassemble/clean/lube due to the aerospace industry tolerances there built with. I'm already planning my Sebenza purchase to go next to this Inkosi. BTW...the perfectly heat treated Magnacut (63-64 RC) takes this knife to the next level.
