Dead Reckon Knives Ridgeback
The Ridgeback is an Integral Folder that offers multiple grip holds for different use applications. The enlarged choil allows the user to hold the knife by placing the flipper tab between the index and middle finger, leaving a recessed area along the spine of the blade to place the thumb for more precise cutting. The proprietary locking mechanism developed in house relies on an incredibly precise relationship between the dual sealed precision bearings and the locking pin. This mechanism offers multiple ways to deploy the blade that results in a highly distinguishable “click” and a rock-solid open position that is indiscernible from a fixed blade. When the job has been completed and its time to send the blade home, the button lock allows the user to quickly and effortlessly close the blade with one hand while keeping the thumb out of the path of the cutting edge. DRK's reversible pocket clip proudly displays their logo into a functional aspect of the handle, allowing the knife to be placed on either side of the body.
About Dead Reckon Knives
Dead Reckon Knives started from the idea that mechanically innovative, structurally sound knives could be designed and manufactured in America at a cost that rivals what overseas manufacturers produce. Backed by over 50 years of manufacturing expertise and over a decade's experience in U.S. Military Special Operations, we blend cutting-edge machine shop techniques with practical user insights. DRK isn't reinventing the knife, they just set a course to improve its form and function in their own unique way.
