The Heretic Knives Manticore-S is the smallest of the Manticore Series of double action knives. The scaled down Manticore-S has the same countered, 3D machined, aircraft grade aluminum handle with traction scallops around the edge for a comfortable and secure grip in the hand. This version comes with a Stonewash finish, CPM S35VN tanto blade and black handle. CPM-S35VN stainless steel was chosen for its balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness. It deploys via a dual action mechanism for fast, smooth operation. Simply press the thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. The Handle is Milled, black anodized aluminum that offers about 4 inches of handle. The contoured handle has smooth chamfered edges paired with scallops. Carries via a right hand, tip-down, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
