Hinderer Eklipse 3.5" Spearpoint
The Eklipse takes a linear design approach that sets it apart from Rick Hinderer's other folders, like the XM-18. The blade tip flows in a straight line through to the center of the handle when deployed, positioning the tip centered in your grip for a light, comfortable feel during any task. Double finger grooves and a sloping underside combine to create ergonomic grip that fills your hand naturally. The thumb ramp features properly sized jimping for solid purchase when using a fencing-type grip. A steel lockbar insert provides durability in the locking mechanism that won't wear over time. The Triway pivot system allows users to configure the knife with washers, bearings, or both depending on preference for action and feel. The linear blade-to-handle geometry creates balance that reduces hand fatigue during extended use. Rick Hinderer designed this folder with its own distinct attitude and handling characteristics.
