Hogue Counterstrike
Hogue Returns to their Woodcrafting Roots by Adding Cocobolo to the Counterstrike Out The Front
The popular Counterstrike OTF platform is receiving a new Cocobolo variation in the Hogue Knives Collector Series.
Henderson, NV – For decades, Cocobolo has been a staple in the Hogue grip catalog, possessing a decadent array of colors and durability. To pay homage to Hogue Inc.’s renowned woodcrafting legacy, the engineering team at Hogue Knives sought to integrate an epoxy laminated version of their Cocobolo wood material into the Counterstrike platform. This produced a stronger and more stable surface cover than natural wood and in turn, culminated in one of the most artisanal and elegant out the front knives to reach the American-made market.
The new Collector Series Cocobolo Counterstrike features a stone tumbled, double edge blade with CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, cryogenically heated treated to 62–64 HRC. At 2.7 oz, the knife maintains an extremely light weight through a streamlined, 6061–T6 anodized aluminum case completed with an ornate milling pattern, providing both aesthetics and traction. The Counterstrike includes a deep carry, ambidextrous
pocket clip with a lanyard loop and carbide glass breaker. Each package also includes a filler screw for those that prefer to remove the glass breaker attachment.
