There’s chemistry in the air, because the Covalent is love at first sight. This mid-size folder features a comfortable glass-filled nylon handle with stylish, textured pockets. The Covalent deploys using a flipper on manual KVT ball bearings. The strong DuraLock secures the blade in place using a solid steel crossbar. A drop point blade with a flat grind and D2 steel make it a go-to cutter during work tasks. To close the knife, pull back on the ambidextrous DuraLock, and your fingers will never enter the path of the edge. An extra-deep-carry pocket clip is reversible for left or right carry. It’s all-business. It’s reliable. The Covalent is undeniably irresistible.

  • Mid-size everyday carry
  • DuraLock secures the blade open using a solid steel crossbar; pull the ambidextrous lock back to safely close the knife
  • D2 high-carbon tool steel is highly wear resistant, tough, offers excellent edge retention; black-oxide finish
  • Opens easily with KVT ball-bearing system and a flipper
  • Extra deep-carry pocketclip is easily reversible for left/right carry; lanyard hole

This is a great little knife, with good action. The cross bar is smooth.

    One of my favorites

This is actually one of my favorite folders for EDC. It's lightweight, slim, and long enough for my large hands. The crossbar lock works great, and the scales are comfy. I love a deep-carry clip, but this one juts out such that the knife sits extra low in the pocket making it difficult to retrieve. I heard another user complain about this same thing. I'm not a big lanyard guy, but this was the first knife where I picked out a bead to match and grabbed some paracord. Problem solved! If you don't mind fixing the grab issue, this thing is a steal.
