Kershaw Iridium

The Iridium features clean design elements with gray-anodized aluminum handle scales. D2 high-carbon tool steel spear point blade provides excellent edge retention, wear resistance, and toughness. Two-tone blade finish pairs stonewashed flats with satin grinds for stunning aesthetics. DuraLock technology secures the blade open using a solid steel crossbar—pull the ambidextrous lock back to close safely. KVT ball bearings create buttery smooth thumb stud deployment. Bronze-anodized backspacer and lanyard hole add visual contrast. Deep-carry pocket clip reverses for left or right carry.

    Beautiful but...

    Beautiful nice with a great profile and ergonomics at a great price point by the action is abysmal. I tried tuning it and found the washers are plastic with metal ball bearings. Maybe it needs to wear in or maybe I need to change the washers out for traditional ones but there's no way to tune the action to get it drop shut.

    The Kershow Iridium attracts first and foremost with its balanced design. Thus, it pulls itself out of the overall knives with a glance. And then upon closer inspection, it turns out to have an excellent axial lock. The blade rotates beautifully on a bearing. Semi-stainless D2 steel with good performance. Comfortable anodised aluminium handle. And all this for a very relaxed price. It's hard to resist buying it. Time will tell how it performs.
