SLEEKEST LAUNCH YET

Inspired by the look of classic Italian stilettos, the Kershaw Launch 8 modernizes this traditional design for a new generation of knife enthusiasts.

The Launch 8 features the sleek, symmetrical lines of a stiletto in a push-button knife that’s lightweight—only 2.4 ounces—and easy-to-carry. The blade is CPM 154 with a stonewashed finish. This powdered metallurgy steel has a more uniform distribution of carbides, so it takes and holds an excellent edge. It also offers good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and toughness. The slim blade is sharpened on one side, and it has a deep top grind to lighten weight and add stiletto style.

The handle is olive green anodized aluminum with a handsome carbon fiber insert. To maintain the Launch 8’s symmetrical look, the pivot is sunk deep in the handle and covered by the insert. Integrated finger guards on both top and bottom of the handle keep fingers away from danger. The Launch 8 also has a reversible pocketclip (right/left, tip-up) for convenient carry.

Value for money spent is the key here - If you're a collector, you probably need a launch 8

Launch 8 is a classic. Let's be real - you want one because of the look and fidget factor at a good price. Slicey, fires like a rocket, with stiletto inspired look (with some liberties taken on design). I do prefer the protech godson/godfather over this knife but really it's priced extremely well, and functions well. Folks that have big hands may actually wind up carrying it less frequently. My big mitts actually find it kind of skinny to hold onto as the handle tapers down. If you have large hands you might find that this taper makes it weird to grip. For that reason I don't carry mine often but it's in the collection. But we all know that this is for the cool factor, not a working knife. Blade does come sharp though! Still like it quite a bit.
