The Mojave shows what happens when a small Arizona team decides to tackle framelock folders with serious intent. Machinewise paired stonewashed S90V steel with a distressed powder blue anodized titanium for a combination that looks sharp and cuts even better. The S90V holds an edge through heavy use thanks to its wear resistance, and the two-slab titanium construction with integrated backspacer keeps things light without sacrificing strength. Ceramic ball bearings make deployment smooth as butter, which works perfectly with their first framelock design. Built by five people in their Phoenix workshop who handle everything from machining to final assembly in-house. The Mojave proves that a small, focused team can make something distinctive in a crowded market when they sweat the details and choose their materials carefully.
