    Picked this up in person from REC three weeks ago. Looked at several OTF from various brands, originally came in, I am in the Columbus Ohio area, to pick up a Benchmade Claymore full size OTF but the retraction action was very stiff. Kirk recommended I check out the new MT Combat Troodon d/e, glad I did! The deployment and retraction is very smooth, deploy is a little stiffer than retraction but that is a good thing. I have not experienced any failures of any kind with this knife since I purchased it. I have since purchased a Benchmade mini Claymore and a Kershaw Livewire from REC, great customer service and a fantastic showroom. If you are in the Columbus Ohio area I urge you to make the trip instead of ordering online and having it shipped.
