This Troodon is my personal favorite EDC and "go-to" knife out of all the MicroTechs I have, and underrated in my opinion. Size, Ergonomics and Ease of Carry compared to other models are what keep me reaching for this most often. I think the Troodon strikes that balance in size and grip style that the UTX models don't have. A UTX 85 may have a longer blade, but at roughly the same length this feels so much better anchored in my hand. Texas summers are hot, and it fits great in a pair of shorts/swim trunks like Patagonias. Personally I clip it right into the built in key loop or elastic band in the pocket. It can hang right in the pocket and is essentially invisible. Don't sleep on this one for the other microtech models - give it a try. Especially in this blade shape and design
