I have a full size Apache and love it. I also have a thing for tiny knives—so the micro Apache scratches both itches. The detent is lighter (but not too light) than on my full size, but I think it makes sense for such a small knife. The carbon fiber looks great and the fit and finish are faultless as far as I can tell—I love me an Reate OEMed knife. It hasn’t gotten any pocket time yet since it was more of a “OoOoooo, I want that” purchase than one made to fill a specific need. Great knife if you’re subject to blade length restrictions and want something high-end or if you’re a steel snob that’s just into small knives.
