The latest offering from Expat Knives is the USA Made Libertariat designed by John Armstrong as a lightweight tropical survival knife. A lightweight short machete made to carry with you on your hike, coconut gathering or brush clearing adventures without taking up too much space. It also works very well in the kitchen slicing roast beef or large pork shoulders. It is based on the Latin American cacao or coconut knives that are used and abused in food gathering and prep. This version of the Libertariat is made in the USA. It was designed where they know a thing or two about machetes.
