Spyderco Para 3 Brown Canvas Micarta, Satin CruWear - C223MPCW

I avidly collect/EDC Spyderco and primarily the Para3. I'd waited on this one to drop in Cruwear for a couple months. This knife was perfectly functional and I've had great experiences with Cruwear in general. It was SLICEY, perfectly centered, no blade play. My issue was it has the softest detent I'd ever gotten on a Spyderco. I "could" have potentially fixed it to suit me but I do enjoy a factory fresh action. I'm in the process off returning. I'm hoping I just got one that was kinda marginal on being acceptable, maybe I'll get another one down the road.

First time to REC drove a hour to pick up a new spyderco para 3 in curwear and brown micarta. Overall awesome blade no buyers remourse what so ever lol. Spyderco kinda dripped the ball with the factory clip location and it rides high is the obly reason for a 4 star. This knife is a 5 star with the lynch titanium clip which REC had in stock. I chose the raw titanium and hit it with a propan tourch before installing it and gave it a nice brown color with some blues in areas. Perfect look. REC's facility is awesome. Its like buying a fine wine. The showroom is like no other knife store in the state. Cabelas isnt even touching the showroom. Staff is A1. Over all perfect store and fair prices. Everything is the same price as buying from online suppliers. Will be seeing alot of business from me in the future. One improvement i can mention is to get same day as you buy laser engraving service. Thats the only thing i wasnt able to get that i was planning on doing this visit.

Picking up this knife was a no brainer for me once I saw it. Love this steel and the micarta is really nice too. Classic spyderco.

The para 3 is a great choice for edc an this one is built like a tank full steal liners with thin micarta scales it feels great in the hand an the action is just as good as the nested liner g10 model an that satin Cruwear blade looks & cuts soo good, an for those adventurous enough yes these can be skinnyed just go slow an take your time

I have had the para 2 for close to 7 years now and love it. Always had my eye on the 3 and finally pulled the trigger. As always, fast shipping. When it came, it was razor sharp, smooth action and the micarta is fantastic quality. Could not be any happier with my purchase!

Great knife out of the box. My only complaint is the pattern of micarta is different on each side it appears. Great blade though with perfect grind and scary sharp
