Spyderco Para Military 2 Salt

The Para Military 2 Salt delivers ultra-corrosion-resistant performance with CPM MagnaCut steel that offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and superior corrosion resistance. Full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade paired with G-10 scales and nested stainless steel liners. Skeletonized liners form the foundation of the ultra-reliable Compression Lock mechanism. Fully configurable four-position pocket clip provides left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. The all-black version features a DLC-coated blade with peel-ply-textured G-10 scales machined with Spyderco's signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern for an ultra-secure grip. All hardware, including liners, clip, and hardware features ultra-corrosion-resistant materials with non-reflective black coatings. Built for use in and around water.

    Currently I'm a desk jockey working for the man, but I love knives and aspire to greater challenges in life. You may not know it by looking at me, but someday I may become a bad ass Navy Seal, probably TEAM 6, or even 7 if there is such a thing. When that happens, I will already have the perfect knife for covert operations involving water. Watch your ass Putin!

    I'm no stranger to PM2's, but until this rig I had yet to taste the qualities of Magnacut. So far, this knife has exceeded expectations - I didn't expect another all-black knife to really weasel it's way into my daily carry, but I've hardly put it down yet. The handle grooves are a shockingly good addition to a version of the PM2 intended for hard use in wet/slick conditions. I haven't put corrosion resistance to the test by any means, but I feel confident this will be a well-used tool during saltwater fishing season for us. REC with the excellent service, as usual, 100%.

    New go to edc knife from fishing and cutting up bait to normal everyday task this knife has far surpassed my expectations

    Good knife in a better blade steel

    The PM 2 has been around awhile & has evolved into different blade style but this one is different from the previous iterations. For one the coated Magancut steel makes it more resistant to corrosion & the texture on this new handle give it more grippiness. It is my opinion that this one stands out from past iterations.

    Love this thing. Love the texture adds an extra layer of grip that feels great in hand. Extremely sharp out of the box. Highly recommend this blade.
