Hurricane Helene hit several Southern states last week, causing damage across a 500-mile stretch.
 
We here at REC are concerned for everyone affected, including our customers, partners, and friends.
 
To help, we're running a fundraiser raffle. 100% of the money raised will go to North Carolina knife makers impacted the hardest by the storm. The prize package includes some special items, like an REC Traveler Strop, an REC Leather Work Mat & Coaster Set, a never released Titanium REC Badge (made in house) and the Unreleased, Upcoming REC Exclusive Spyderco Lil' Native in CPM 10V!
 
Any donation helps! Raffle Spots are $5.00 each, buy as little or as many as you would like!
 
We'll announce the raffle winner and total funds raised this Friday, October 4th at 3PM EST!

    I'm all for a great cause. But there was no update or email for the winner announcement. I don't see it posted in an email or on their website. Maybe they posted it to their Social media? Who knows I didn't see it. I feel it makes them lack credibility or transparency.

    I was so glad when I saw an opportunity to help out people who have gone through such difficult times with the hurricanes. I wasn't surprised that Brian and the crew at REC would put something up like that. Been shopping there for years consider them friends and continually see how they support local craftsmen and care for others! Good stuff and great people!

    I was genuinely more than pleased to see this happening. In a somewhat media saturated world it can be tough to have confidence in "how to help". When I saw REC was involved,,i knew we could contribute and do it with piece of mind.
