Meet the Remette Swordfish.....

Unique innovative structural design is what Remette is known for and makes them stand out in a sea of other manufacturers out of China. They utilize high-level CNC machining and milling technology to achieve a 3D feeling texture and look.

The blade is M390, widely regarded as one of the best steels available today. The handle is titanium, which is lightweight yet strong. Easily switchable from right-handed to left-handed use, this unique "Gravity" opening mechanism is extremely fun and fidgety, yet very durable. Simply hold the knife, tip facing down, slide the switch and the top will separate allowing gravity to take hold of the blade to slide out. When the switch is released, the blade is locked in place. To bring the blade back into the handle, do the same in reverse!

The handle inserts are also interchangeable so you can switch up the look with minimal effort. A very innovative piece to add to the collection. Comes with a soft leather slip pouch as well!

    Very unique knife

I honestly just bought the Swordfish because it was different. Fit and finish are good and the blade locks up tightly for a gravity knife. Comparing to my Reate Exo-M, the blade doesn't glide out nearly as easily. The knife nearly has to be held completely upside down to get the blade to slide out. The Exo's blade slides out at about a 45° tilt. The blade itself is machined well with the most subtle tanto grind I think I've ever seen. The copper foil carbon inlay is a great addition that adds some personality to an otherwise monochrome titanium slab. Overall, I'd pick the Exo-M over this but the Swordfish still had a place in the collection due to its uniqueness.
