One of the newest additions to this best-selling family is the Chaparral Lightweight, which offers the same design theme and functionality as its brothers, but with a simple, reliable, and affordable injection-molded handle. Its tough fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) construction minimizes weight and offers the high-traction advantages of our Bi-Directional Texturing™ pattern, while its nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners ensure excellent structural strength and precise alignment of all key components. Like the other versions of the Chaparral, its defining features include a full-flat-ground CTS® XHP stainless steel blade, a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for ambidextrous one-handed opening, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that supports discreet left or right-side tip-up carry.

    Another great hit from Spyderco. Was surprised how thin light and grippy this knife was. Put it in your pocket and forget it’s there. Super sharp and a pleasure to use. Buy it you’ll love it.

    A small knife that cuts like a dream! Has comfy frn & uses very good steel. It's also pretty inexpensive too. Can't go wrong with a Chaparral.

    Bought this great knife from REC about 10 months ago. Used every day since then. Best poc CHAPARRAL GRAY FRN , CTS-XHP ket knife I’ve ever owned and I have had many. Just sharpened for the first time after almost a year of use. Put it on a KME and it is back to laser sharp with a mirror edge. This one’s a lifetime keeper!

    What a great EDC option! My current daily favorite . This is my third one. The first two were given to friends as gifts since they liked i t so much. Excellent thin and slicey blade.
