Spyderco's Chaparral series celebrates different handle materials in the same refined, gentleman's folder format. This newest member features precision-machined scales from Red "Dark Matter" Fatcarbon Carbon Fiber. Created by Fatcarbon® Materials of Lithuania using recycled carbon fiber, biobased epoxy resin, and organic pigments. "Forged" under high pressure and heat for an incredibly strong, lightweight, chemical-resistant material. Full-flat-ground, satin-finished CTS® XHP stainless steel blade with fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for ambidextrous one-handed opening. Reliable back lock mechanism and deep-pocket wire clip, reversible for left or right-side tip-up carry.
