By enhancing the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased amounts of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium, CPM SPY27 delivers an outstanding balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a signature cobalt blue. It houses the knife’s durable back lock mechanism and features a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, allowing for discreet and versatile carry on either side.
