    Built for Real Use

I’ve been carrying the Spyderco Endura 4 K390 for several days now, and it's quickly become a favorite for hard-use tasks. The knife is lightweight thanks to the FRN handle, yet feels durable and secure in hand. The bi-directional grip texture provides excellent control, even in wet conditions. What really sets it apart is the K390 tool steel blade. Straight out of the box, it’s razor-sharp — and it stays that way. I’ve used it on cardboard, rope, zip ties, and food prep without needing to touch up the edge. It cuts effortlessly thanks to the full flat grind. The trade-off is corrosion sensitivity: light maintenance (a wipe and oil at the end of the day) is a must, but worth it for the performance. Lock-up with the back lock is solid and secure, with zero blade play. It opens a bit stiff at first but breaks in nicely. The slim profile makes it easy to carry, and the four-position pocket clip gives great flexibility. In short: if you want a reliable, high-performance folder with incredible edge retention and no-nonsense design, the Endura 4 K390 delivers. It’s not flashy — it’s functional, efficient, and ready for real work.
