    Great REC service and care

Posted by Cutberto on 3rd Nov 2021

Golden Colorado Spyderco's have never let me down. The Manix2 lightweight is a very fun knife with it's ball lock. It does not come apart like all my other spyderco knives. Feels great in the hand. And REC has been a great place to purchase from. The REC coth, stickers, and hand signed invoce were a nice touch with a great new knife..

    One of Spydercos best

The Manix 2 lightweight is the knife I'd point people to if asked "why buy a Spyderco?" It checks all the spyderco boxes. Full flat ground leaf shape blade? Check. Unusual and robust lock? Check. 50/50 finger choil? Check. Kinda ugly but feels amazing in hand? Check. This particular model has BD1N steel which I have no problems with as I've only used it for typical light edc tasks. It's very light for its size due to the translucent blue scales which I love because they remind me of 90s game boys and imacs.

You cannot beat this knife it’s the best all around from weight comfort strength cool factor fidget ability and cutting performance. Even the base steel in this model is still outstanding steel. It’s absolutely a hard use hand melting lightweight folder. The ergos and comfort are second to none. What a great tool especially for the money.
