This elite Sprint Run™ expression of the Para® 3 Lightweight proudly showcases a blade crafted from CPM® 15V®, an extraordinary material that offers the highest wear resistance of any cold-work tool steel available today. Containing almost 15 percent vanadium, its unique alloy composition creates an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. In knife blades, this translates to breathtaking cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco’s limited-edition family of CPM 15V knives are further enhanced by a specialized heat-treating protocol developed by acclaimed custom knifemaker Shawn Houston. This Sprint Run expression of the Para 3 Lightweight faithfully includes all the proven elements of this design, including a streamlined Compression Lock® mechanism and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip. To clearly distinguish it as a member of our CPM 15V family, it also features brown injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle and Shawn Houston’s “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the reverse side of the full-flat-ground blade.

*Please understand that it is normal for Light Weight Para 3 models to not be centered. This can be fixed with slight adjustments of the screws. This is not considered defective in any way.

    For the money all of the Spyderco lightweight knives are hard to beat for function and value. Spyderco has always offered interesting steels and these knives are the no frills versions. Been waiting to get my hands on one of these 15V blades for a while and so far it does not disappoint. Great factory edge, solid function and a reasonable price. Gave it 4 stars because I have only started using it so I don't have a lot of info so far. The action was a bit tight out of the box but that is easily adjusted and all about personal preference.

    Really great pricing on a 15V sprint run. My particular model had a very uneven grind and the FRN had some rough edges. Definitely a great user knife though.

    Another excellent example of the Pm3. I have a few things from 20cv to Cruwear, but the 15v is exceptionally slicy. The toughness may not be there but for a lightweight everyday folder, this has quickly become my most carried. Very sharp, smooth action, and as always REC delivers quickly. Thanks

    This was an easy knife to like. The Para 3 LW is a perfect fit for the office. Nice and light yet still a stout knife with a strong lock. Then add BBB 15v, by far one of my favorite high edge retention steels and you have a winning combo. Shawn really did something special with this steel, keeping great edge retention with a lot of toughness.

    This thing is absolutely wicked. I know a lot of people get nervous about centering on these, but mine couldn’t be more perfectly centered. The edge is aggressively sharp. The stone washing and fit and finish is as good as could be. The action feels just as good as the g10 versions. I’m really happy with it. Thank you Sean Houston and Spyderco, and REC too!

    This is one of the nicest P3 LW I’ve seen right out of the box. Blade is actually centered , zero blade play and drop-shut action. Grind is good . And it looks great with the silver hardware and brown FRN scales. BTW its my 4th Spyderco Exclusive or Spint from REC shop for half a year !!! and Im pretty happy to own one more.
