    Perfect EDC

Posted by Scott Class on 5th Jan 2025

The Para 3 has always seemed to be the knife that fits all my needs and carry and ease of quick use. This is no different then any other LW Para 3 other then the steel. Magnacut is a great EDC steel from edge retention to toughness to corrosion resistance to ease of stropping back and sharpening when needed. It’s a fair price for a great knife.

    Great ultralight carry

I live by the beach so a salt model is a huge thing for me. The para 3 LW body is a great platform for the salt series because this knife cam do so much. Used it to prep bait a few times with no corrosion worries yet. Makes for a solid edc user otherwise.

First Para 3 LW, blown away

Posted by Kyle A. on 4th Jun 2024

Oh, what's that? You bought another Spyderco knife?! Yes, yes I did, and no I'm not sorry - this Para 3 salt is fantastic. Even for the consistently good Spyderco, this thing was a *slice of awesome straight out of the box. So sharp, perfect action and centering, and the Para 3 FRN has a nice contour to it. I'm getting a feel for magnacut and wanted a knife I could keep in my bike commuting shorts full-time without worrying about getting soaked, etc. Perfect for that purpose so far. REC with the ideal offerings, processing, and delivery... I'll continue to bring my business here.

Good handy tool for every day.

It's a beautiful knife. Amazing design by Spayderco. Lightweight inconspicuous when carried in my pocket everyday. And with the MagnsCut steel blade, it has entered the "Salt" series of super corrosion resistant knives. Will ignore exposure to sweat, sea and fresh water. And all screws, clip and lock are also treated to increase corrosion resistance. A good handy tool for every day.

    Instant Favorite! Just buy it!

This was my first Para 3 light weight and from the instant I opened the box and flicked it open this one just spoke to me. Usually not a fan for FRN scales because to me they feel cheap. Not on this, ergonomics are great, action is smooth, and you can’t go wrong with Magnacut. If you’re looking at this, just buy it, you won’t regret it.

    Salt Para 3

The Para 3 is one of the best EDC knives in it's class. Adding FRN lightweight scales and magnacut puts it in a league of it own. The blade, action and ergos are top notch. Definitely grab one if you plan to carry a knife new wetter environments.
