This special Para Military 2 combines the legendary PM2 design with classic brown canvas Micarta handles and high-performance CRUWEAR steel. The full-flat ground blade excels at both slicing and more demanding cutting tasks while offering excellent edge retention and toughness for extended use. The natural Micarta handles provide a warm, organic feel that actually improves with use as oils from your hand create a unique patina. Unlike standard PM2s, this version features full-length liners rather than nested ones, giving it a distinctive character that won't accept most aftermarket scales.     The best PM2 model

    The best PM2 offered in my opinion because of the CruWear, Micarta scales and full liners. Required some tuning, pivot was too loose and caused some blade wobble and off centering out of the box. Tuned the pivot screw and got rid of the wobble, perfectly centered up the blade and made it drop shut and super easy to reverse flick. Micarta scales were really well finished and it came shaving sharp. I did replace the pocket clip right away with a Ti LynchNW, I’m not a fan of the factory clips. Great knife!

    Central to the image of this knife are two things. These are the superb CPM Cruwear powder steel and the scales made of multilayer micarta. This is the reason for the new name CruCarta. In fact, we got a new version of the popular knife with new structural features. Tactile feel of the handle is very pleasant and comfortable. It seems that ergonomics has improved. Naturally, the undoubted advantage of this knife is CPM Cruwear steel with exceptional high performance characteristics. Spyderco's quality is confirmed from knife to knife. Highly recommended.

    Spyderco Paramilitary II. Incredible knife! My first Spyderco and I love everything about it. Looks fantastic and is so easy to open. Great blade and the Micarta is sweet.

    Above average Spyderco quality with above average REC sales and service. The knife cuts like a dream but the handle scales are very light colored.

    REC customer service is always top notch. I received their email notification that the Cruwear PM2 - Natural Micarta was back in stock. The knife arrived on time and was packaged well.
