Spyderco Lil'Native 10V Exclusive

This REC exclusive brings CPM 10V steel to Spyderco's compact powerhouse. CPM 10V is the very first member of Crucible's family of high-vanadium tool steels to be made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process. Often used as a replacement for carbide in demanding tooling applications, CPM 10V is also a favorite material of performance-oriented custom knifemakers. This Exclsuive Lil'Native pairs a DLC-coated blade with coyote brown G-10 scales, while black liners, clip, and hardware complete the aesthetic.

    Rec exclusive lil native

    The knife is close to perfect with amazing steel and a wicked edge if properly maintained. Only downside is the handle really is too rough to carry in the front pocket. It is ripping up my jeans and it drags a lot making deployment pretty slow. It grips the hand perfectly for its size and utilizating the fifth pocket in jeans is probably the way to carry it. Buy it for the steel and live with the extra wear on the pockets its worth it

    A knife so good that I had to buy a backup one. Love the colourway, love the 10V steel also, such a good mix of edge retention and toughness. Size wise you can carry it almost anywhere and it doesn't show as much as a bigger knife but the blade shape and front finger choil really make the blade seem bigger than it really is.

    Fit and finish are perfect, grinds are even and razor sharp, locks up tight with no blade play or lock stick. The black DLC blade looks great with the Coyote Brown handle scales. I can actually get a full 4 finger grip when using the finger choil which is amazing given the small size of the Lil' Native. It looks great next to my avocado Lil' Native! I can't wait to see what other exclusives there might be!

    Grate size for your fifth pocket or wanting to keep it legal in certain locations. Spyderco does little big knives well and the colour way and awesome 10V steel make this hard to pass up. Thanks REC for your fast shipping as always. Now just waiting for the next exclusive :)

    To be honest , it's hard to write something huge. Knife is literally perfect. No blade play, greatly assembled, sharp AF and with even bevels. If they are still in stock in November, I will buy the second one.

    I must have been the first EU customer to carry this gem. Delivered by diligence, I now can enjoy this 10V DLC coated blade. What an edge retention friends! The lil native worth it with a true steel cause I ain’t named lil for nothing. When I first handled it I found it surprisingly little. I use it for light duty and carry along either my Manix 2 XL Crucarta or Shaman as beater. Long story short I don’t see myself having another type of lil native than the Scorpion. Thanks REC !
