This limited-edition Sprint Run™ expression of the Endela® Lightweight showcases Carpenter® Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade. To make this elite Endela Lightweight even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.

    Spyderco Nails it Again!

    I just got back from a 4 day trek through the white mountain wilderness in NH and tookj this very Endela with me. through rain and sweat and various cutting tasks, this thing was perfect in every way. Excellent hikers companion as the blade for weight ratio is awesome. The maroon is far better looking in person!
