This limited-edition Sprint Run™ expression of the Endura® 4 Lightweight showcases Carpenter® Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade. To make this elite Endura 4 Lightweight even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.

    If you're a fan of a large lw blade then the endura is for you, this sprint run in PD1 is excellent action is smooth an fidget friendly the color combo is also quite nice! So if you have not tried the endura before don't hesitate to pick one up really getting alot of blade for your money.

    Love the burgundy scales! Not familiar with the steel but got it for the collection anyway.
