This limited-edition Sprint Run™ expression of the Police 4 Lightweight showcases Carpenter® Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade. To make this elite Police 4 Lightweight even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.

    Another good one

I got to know the Police 4 model from a K390 model, and it's a pocket sword. It's a fun long blade, and having it in PD1 makes it tougher steel better for all around use. PD1 seem to sharpen up a little more toothy than cruwear has for me, so I'm enjoying it. The kind of plum or black cherry color is quite nice, especially along with dlc. Glad I grabbed one
