Simply a super engineering marvel of functionality and aesthetics!

I really, really have wanted a Vero knife for a long time now. When I saw there were some Axons available, I was super excited and bought one right away!! I am so glad that I did. The aesthetics are amazing, clean, sleek, elegantly strong, precisely creative, and so functional. It is a marvelous integration of engineering design that meets the beauty of the lines and flow of this knife. The chamfered edges, smooth action of the knife opening and drop shutting, the precision of the blade centering and being locked in place solidly by the framelock are superb. The framelock secures the knife perfectly, is easy and comfortable to operate, and is so perfectly designed for access. The blade is an amazing Warrencliffe blade that I so enjoy using. The titanium scales are well contoured and shaped for a solid grip, ensuring confidence when doing whatever one does from boxes, water bottle cases, rope, envelopes, strings on clothing, etc. My only ask is a bit longer edge but I understand the short edge and low angle to ensure strength when in hard use. I simply changed the grind angle from 25-28° to 20° which was more than enough to make it an insane slicer. I’ll probably put some Skiff caged ceramic ball bearings washers on to see if it can make a great knife better. Sometimes you can but sometimes it makes no different. Overall this a highly recommendable knife that I will keep in my collection and use.
