    Pretty okay

Posted by Andy Linn on 6th Sep 2023

This is my first Vero knife. I have a pretty large collection of knives and wanted to get a Vero for some time. Fit and finish are flawless. Vero has a great reputation for that and this is no exception. Detent is a light detent, but works well, I just wish it was a bit stronger. But it's not bad. Pretty sharp out of the box so kudos there. My main issue with this knife is the the value. For a knife that costs $370, this was a bit underwhelming. It has okay action and it may get better over time, but honestly, I am more disappointed with this purchase than any others I've had in a long time. I will probably keep it, but if I could go back in time, I'd pass on this one. I've wanted a Vero for a long time and that's why I will probably keep it, but I think what I am trying to say is this was not as good as I was expecting. I feel like there are knives out there with more value, especially at this price point. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Hope this is helpful.
