The 0990 streamlines the legendary award-winning 0999 design into a more accessible package that maintains the distinctive elements that made the original iconic. Skeletonized steel construction creates visual drama while delivering reliable strength for confident cutting. The exposed "floating bridge" near the top of the handle, carbon fiber scales with front steel overlay, and cutout windows in the blade and near the pivot all pay homage to the original's striking aesthetic. The words "Zero Tolerance" are subtly debossed into the backspacer rather than displayed on the blade itself. CPM 20CV steel provides excellent edge retention that maintains a sharp edge through extended use. KVT ball bearings ensure reliable opening action with smooth deployment.
