    This is the way Benchmade should have made this knife all along!! It took REC and their awesome customer service to make it happen. I will order a second one as soon as they are back in stock!!!

    First, let’s talk about the knife. The bailout is beautiful! The aluminum handle makes it feel solid and sturdy. The blade is perfectly aligned in the middle, and the axis action feels smooth as butter. Secondly, let’s talk about REC as a company. I placed my order in on a national holiday. AND I requested the custom drop point regrind, so you’d think it would take awhile to ship to me. Nope. I literally had the knife in my hands in three days. That’s insane! It was also neatly packaged and the custom regrind work was great. If I end up purchasing more knives, REC will without a doubt be the first place I shop.

    Love the smoothness of the Axis lock action. The texture and slight grip of these scales is also very nice. Best part of this purchase was the free drop point regrind. I don’t necessarily dislike a tanto, but the drop point shape suits my needs better. Very satisfied!

    I love this knife the regrind was great. I couldnt recommend it enough. The knife is light as a feather and usable now.
