    Perfect fit

Posted by Steven Irvin on 29th Dec 2024

I really love this knife! It pairs perfectly with my waste pouch EDC carry bag, and I use it as a chest rig. Having a quick-access blade is super important to me, and this one definitely gets the job done. Benchmade has such a great reputation for quality while being budget-friendly, and they really hit the mark with this one. While I’m sure it’s useful on its own, the design fits so well with the pack that it made my decision easier than choosing from my hundred other knives I could have just used. Great job on this one! Thanks REC!

Excellent design - consider tradeoffs between full size and mini

Posted by Brian Cotten on 10th Oct 2024

I bought the "mini" version first and loved the sheath retention and concealability. On this model you trade off some of that sheath retention grip for a longer blade. I still love it. I think it really depends where you want to carry it. IWB go with the mini. If you want a bigger blade for your purposes, go with the full size. Now note - the retention is not bad. It's still solid! The mini just had such insane retention and ease of deployment. You can swing that thing around as hard as possible and it won't come out of the sheath. The clip is still great, sheath is still great. It's really up to how you want to use and carry it. I have both for a reason. Really useful and ergonomic tools
