The Apex features Guardian Tactical's redefined X-Drive deployment system, using two blade springs and four points of contact for blade deployment and retraction. Separate contact points allow fine-tuning how springs interact with the blade. Combined with Guardian's patented ball bearing button system, the result is their smoothest, most reliable OTF to date. Removable inlays enable future customization options. MagnaMax blade steel heat-treated to 62-63 HRC (63 target hardness) provides exceptional edge retention and toughness.

    This is my second Apex. It is so good I bought a second one. Smoothest action of any OTF. Love the color of this one and to date Magnamax has been everything it promised. This knife may not be the cheapest but it is worth every penny. Try it, buy it, use it, love it!
