Guardian Tactical Apex

The Apex features Guardian Tactical's redefined X-Drive deployment system, using two blade springs and four points of contact for blade deployment and retraction. Separate contact points allow fine-tuning how springs interact with the blade. Combined with Guardian's patented ball bearing button system, the result is their smoothest, most reliable OTF to date. Removable inlays enable future customization options. MagnaMax blade steel heat-treated to 62-63 HRC (63 target hardness) provides exceptional edge retention and toughness.

    This is my third Apex. This OTF delivers on every front. The Magnamax steel holds an edge very well. People who don’t think OTF make a good knife for EDC hasn’t had a good OTF. It’s not fixed blade but neither is a folder. My only complaint about this knife is it makes it hard to leave at home and carry one of many other brands I love. For over a month it has been Guardian Tactical and don’t see it changing any time soon.
