Spyderco Lil Native

The Lil' Native distills Spyderco's iconic Native into a compact gentleman's folder. This Sprint Run upgrades the Compression Lock design with CPM 15V blade steel, featuring the highest wear resistance of any cold-work tool steel available. Nearly 15 percent vanadium creates exceptional carbide volume for unparalleled cutting performance and edge retention. Specialized heat treatment by custom knifemaker Shawn Houston maximizes the steel's potential. Includes all standard Compression Lock features with nested stainless steel liners, high-strength lock mechanism, and reversible deep-pocket wire clip. Brown peel-ply-textured G-10 scales and Houston's "Triple B" logo laser-engraved on the blade's reverse mark its CPM 15V family membership.

    Lil native 15V

Great knife. Just a smidge larger than dragon fly. 1/4” longer blade and grip. The blade is a lot thicker and the action is definantely more fidgety. Awesome fun sized knife.

If you could only have one..

I own many, many knives- all intended to cut but many just to collect. The Lil Native is one you can’t help but cut with. This might be my third or fourth of this knife, I loved the wash on this blade and had gifted my REC exclusive coyote brown model to my nephew. The ergos on this knife are out of this world. No knife feels more like an extension of your hand than this one, that finger notch on the underside of the blade is lacking in other Spydercos and just gives exceptional control. It is SO light and can be carried in pocket or clipped with ease. Very few knives do I find truly joyful to carry but this is one- just really nothing to complain about. So far, the Spy27 steel has been my favorite for its slicey properties and ease of sharpening. You can’t go wrong with any of the lil native models- buy with confidence!

Happy to have the BBB added to the collection. This one came super smooth out of the box, so I'm very pleased. Thank you REC Team and Spyderco!
