Spyderco Lil'Native REC Exclusive

This Lil' Native features CPM® 10V®, the first high-vanadium tool steel made through Crucible Particle Metallurgy. Finely tuned vanadium content delivers exceptional wear resistance with toughness and machining comparable to D2 and M2. Full-flat grind, PlainEdge™ cutting edge, and satin finish optimize the steel's properties for outstanding edge geometry and low-friction performance. CPM 10V performs as true tool steel, not stainless, requiring proper maintenance. Coyote brown G-10 scales feature peel-ply texture for a non-slip grip and house nested stainless steel liners that anchor the high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism. Polished four-position pocket clip offers left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry options.

    Spyderco should pay more attention to the details. the knife came with a bladeplay, and you cannot fully tighten the screws as they touch, so first you have to grind off 1mm each from the screws to be able to fully tighten them. The blade grind is off, one side had double the width than the other :/

    This one is highly affordable as far as Lil' Natives go and even for Spyderco! I was pretty (happily) surprised for the price. Glad to have both this and the DLC variant in the collection as this is one of my favorite models.

    Lil Native already is a wonderful edc knife but with 10v it becomes even better! Im so glad I was able to grab one of these before they sold out! I cant wait for more REC Exclusives!

    The best small knife for big hands

    I have humungous meat paws, but this Lil' Native has the perfect ergonomics for it to fit in hand and be entirely usable and completely comfortable. With big hands you're mostly choked up, but you can control the feel of this through how deep down the spine of the blade you put your thumb. The G10 is as grippy as a lizards fingers and, combined with those ergos, this thing is rock solid in hand and the 10V is easy to get razor sharp. This is a fifth-pocket knife. It is small. But it punches way above its weight for its size. It's getting a lot more pocket time than I thought it would when buying it. Finally, get the REC exclusive scorpion etching added. It looks kick-a** in hand.

    I have big hands and was not sure about buying such a little knife, but I thought I would give it a try. Wow! I don't kniw how, but it fills my hand and the size make it nearly invisible inside my pocket. I have two other lil natives now, but with the 10V, this is the real deal.
