The Swick 5 combines thoughtful design with practical defense capabilities in a compact package. Born from the collaboration between Sal Glesser and Fred Perrin, this American-made knife features a distinctive 1.03-inch finger hole that locks securely in your grip when you need it most. The clean Wharncliffe blade uses corrosion-resistant LC200N steel that holds its edge well, while the textured black G10 scales give you confident handling in any situation. Weighing just 1.9oz with a 2.73" blade, it comes with a versatile Boltaron sheath offering multiple carry options through its adjustable G-Clip and breakaway chain—ready when you are, without unnecessary bulk.

    Mostly awesome

The Swick 5 is unique and has been very worth the long wait for it to be released. I intend to lower the edge angle and use this primarily as a fruit harvesting knife. So far, the finger hole has been a nice feature for light edc duties, allowing me to use both hands while maintaining a secure grip on the knife. The sheath, however, is a letdown. It has weak retention, and sheathing the knife feels mushy, there is no secure click. I worry that the knife will be easily knocked or snagged out of the sheath. Still happy with the knife, but I will be on the lookout for an aftermarket sheath.
