Takcom Unnamed

It took over two years to transform initial sketches into the final production version. Along the way, many incredible knife enthusiasts offered Takcom valuable feedback, significantly shaping the design. The knife has evolved greatly since its first prototype.

The name originated from their good friend Vu Pham (@Vucachon). In the early stages, they hadn’t named the design and simply referred to it as "Unnamed." The nickname stuck and became its official name.

One of the toughest decisions was determining the handle's surface. Takcom aimed for a sleek, minimalistic look, but they worried that people might find the handle too smooth. Ultimately, they chose laser micromilling to add subtle texture. The result? A knife that’s hard to put down!

About TAKCOM; From the Takcom Website:

In January 2023, TAKCOM was formed during a lunch meeting at the SHOT Show Vegas between Bestech Knives and TacKnives. The two companies recognized how their skills complemented each other, and they came together with a shared vision of bringing ultra-premium OTF knives and folding knives to the market.

As a young and dynamic company, TAKCOM is slowly establishing our brand, and we can’t wait to show you the knives that will be coming out. In the beginning, you’ll see existing TK PRO knives sold under the TAKCOM name. However, within the next year or sooner, we hope to introduce original TAKCOM knives, which will be distinctly different than the TK PRO knives in materials, design, and finish.
