WHAT A KNIFE!!!! Great looking knife, very good ergonomics and so many ways to deploy. Love VERO Engineering Products and this one is going to be one of My Favorites. Thank you REC for letting me own this piece of Art

    Better than expected

This is my first Vero knife, and I must say I’m impressed. The DLC is no joke! I was worried my Copper & Ti JK knuck, which I carry in the same pocket along with my keys, would destroy the DLC finish but it’s actually the other way around! The build quality is nice and the jimping is more than sufficient while remaining soft to the touch. The blade is razor sharp and a quick strop once a week has kept it that way. The Ultem scales are interesting as they have a micro texture to them that feels “slick” when rubbed but actually has some grip when clenched on. The centering is dead on and the action is smooth as silk, dropping shut with the slightest wiggle. The detent is strong enough to prevent in pocket deployment while allowing ease for comfortable spidey flicks using the nicely chamfered deployment trench on the clip side of the blade only. The lock up is about 85% and the clip is very tight, it actually ruined a pair of my Mitchell & Ness basketball shorts (lesson learned). Lastly, maybe I missed this on the sales page but, mine is a Gen 2 version according to the birth card. Overall, this mini synapse is a keeper for sure and now I need a full sized version!
